Founded in 2006 by Laetitia and Philippe Straforelli, the brand handcrafts solid and liquid soaps, bath salts, and natural cosmetics using carefully selected ingredients that reflect the island’s rich botanical heritage.
Mission
La Savonnerie du Nebbiu is guided by a deep respect for nature and traditional craftsmanship. Each product is formulated with local, natural ingredients that care for the skin while preserving the environment. The Nepita mint, a refreshing and aromatic herb native to the region, is valued for its soothing properties and is a signature ingredient in their creations. Story
Coming from a background in horticulture and trained in aromatherapy, Laetitia Straforelli developed a passion for plants and essential oils that naturally led her to soapmaking. Together with Philippe, she has been crafting products from start to finish using time-honored saponification methods that maintain the purity of natural ingredients. Visitors to their boutique in Patrimonio can experience the scents and textures of Corsican craftsmanship in every creation.
Today, this dedication to authenticity continues through a partnership with KIIMA, offering natural deodorant refills compatible with KIIMA’s refillable applicators. The collaboration unites Corsican artistry with Canadian innovation to promote a shared vision of sustainability and beauty that respects both people and the planet.
