The applicator is made from a single material (monomaterial), making recycling easier. It is made of food-grade polypropylene to protect your health. It's the most environmentally friendly option to date.
We explored different material ideas for the applicator. We excluded aluminum due to its highly polluting extraction process and ruled out bioplastic due to the lack of suitable recycling facilities, creating additional waste in jurisdictions without the necessary facilities.

Yes! The packaging is 100% recyclable, just like your applicator.
All papers wrapping our deodorant refills are recyclable. In most cases, these papers are also biodegradable and commercially compostable.
The white beads in your future package are made from starch, making them 100% biodegradable and water-soluble.

Each person has their own personal deodorant usage, which varies from person to person, making it difficult to give an exact number of days. However, we can estimate a minimum duration of 1 to 3 months based on usage.
The shelf life of our deodorant refills is 2 years. Beyond this period, your deodorant may lose effectiveness and olfactory intensity.

KIIMA DIY mold
The mold is made of food-grade silicone. The advantages of having a silicone mold include the flexibility for easy demolding with its double walls, resistance to high temperatures, durability, non-stick properties, versatility, easy cleaning, chemical resistance, and protection against bacteria when in contact with your DIY recipe.

We discourage the use of stainless steel culinary instruments in your recipes for several reasons. Some natural ingredients used in deodorants, such as essential oils, can chemically interact with metals, affecting the quality of the final product and potentially causing undesirable reactions.
Furthermore, stainless steel may sometimes react with acidic or alkaline components present in the ingredients, altering the composition of your deodorant. It is recommended to use glass, non-reactive plastic, or wooden utensils when preparing personal care products with ingredients sensitive to metallic reactions. This ensures the preservation of the integrity of your natural formulations.

Delivery fees vary by region. Enjoy free shipping on orders of $75+ in Canada and $100+ in the United States. For orders below these thresholds, prices start at $7.99 CAD in Canada, $5.99 USD in the US, and $14.85 CAD in Europe. All prices are before taxes.
Delivery times vary depending on your location and the quantities ordered. KIIMA is committed to delivering within 2 weeks for orders shipped to Canada and the United States. For European recipients, delivery times range between 3 and 4 weeks.
Upon subscribing, payments will be automatically processed at the chosen frequency and using the provided payment method. The subscribed product(s) will be shipped to the delivery address specified during registration. Please log in to your account to make any necessary changes.
*Please note, it's your responsibility to update KIIMA with your new delivery address. Failure to do so may result in delivery to the wrong address. In such cases, if you're unable to retrieve the merchandise, you'll need to cover the delivery fees for a second shipment.
