Sometimes we’re told that our products are more expensive than others. And it’s true, we could have done things differently.
We could have used cheap, chemical ingredients, easy to find and inexpensive... 💚 But we chose the richness of essential oils, the gentleness of natural ingredients, and the safety of absorbent ingredients that respect both your skin and the planet.
We could have outsourced all our production overseas to cut costs... 💚 But we chose to keep it local, here at home, to support our community and closely watch over the quality of every batch.
We could have created disposable containers, easy to make and quick to forget... 💚 But we put all our energy into designing a durable, efficient refill system built to last.
We could have simply sold our applicators and refills, and stopped there... 💚 But sharing free recipes, tips, advice — and even our DIY molds — is part of who we are: empowering you to take control of your consumption, freely and independently.
So yes, our products might seem more expensive. But behind every price, there’s a promise: to protect your health, respect the planet, and build a more sustainable world, together. At KIIMA, we believe in beauty that leaves no trace. Thank you for being part of this movement and showing that taking care of yourself can also mean taking care of the world. 🤍

Once I factored in the possibility of never buying (and dumping) another deodorant casing (both financially and environmentally), it became a manageable cost over the long run for me. No more expensive than the other premium deodorant’s out there. The problem is while some are loyal to a brand many others buy what’s on sale and easily available.
If you ever decide to do a mini holder (for purse/sports bags/travel) or update your current holder (and have stock of the older one) then maybe offer it with 2 refills as a gift set for friend or family to give away. Or maybe a friend’s and family promo where whoever buys a set for themselves gets a second holder and a refill at a discount. Then once people have tried your product it’s harder to go back to disposable. My two cents anyway

Your molds are great. I am making deodorants for everyone. If the container/holder was a little thicker? I might not experience as much melting!
Caution keep it upright when camping. ( yes I can make my refills more dense)
